How to write a resume?

• › First section: Experience or Projects
  • • Skip the self-summary; describe yourself with your work
• › Opening text of each job — either:
  • • a paragraph about the company (your domain) with some numerical details, such as users, ratings, revenue, market position, etc.
  • • or a bullet about your role's primary responsibility
• › Each following bullet: one specific responsibility
  • • Each sub-bullet: one key result, detail, or status of the bullet above
• › Relevance decay — recent role: many bullets; older: fewer; oldest: title and dates only
• › One bullet point shouldn't have too many lines of text
• › Instead of a separate Skills section, attach skills as tag clouds directly to the jobs or projects where you used them — colocated skills
• › In a separate section, write about your design, engineering, operational, or other guiding principles
• › List your other interests
